Student Work
The majority of my teaching is in two-dimensional design. Two-dimensional design is the core of all visual artistic expression that is carried into my photography lectures. The focus in my class is to study the application of the formal visual elements, design principles, techniques, materials, tools, creative process, and professional standards of design. I aim to strengthen student's understanding of composition, as well as add a dynamic pull to their artwork while using a variation of teaching practices and materials. I encourage students in making unpremeditated decisions in order for them to make personal discoveries. Each student has a unique way of making and I desire to be the best teacher I can to fit their needs. Seeing student's enthusiasm about their work makes me feel proud as a teacher.
